Hello​,​ We are located on the Gold Coast​,​ Tallai. Close to all the main attractions. Most things within 30 mins drive such as Beaches​,​ mountains​,​ Dams​,​ rivers​,​ theme parks​,​ hiking​,​ fishing​,​ plus much more to find. If you enjoy walking or riding you can take the challenge to walk or try ride to the top of the Panorama for a massive view of the Gold Coast right from your camp site.. We have available a couple camping spots on our property. It's a small flat area which may accommodate camper trailers​,​ tents or medium sized caravans. Two sites available. There is water and power available at the pool house or via hose and long extension lead. We have a camp kitchen with toilet and shower by the pool. The camp site is set amongst the trees beside the road (10 meters off) with reasonable tight access for competent drivers. The walking around the property to access the pool etc is not suitable for wheel disabled access as it is up and down hill and unlevel. The swimming pool has a slide and a jump off cliff for the kids with a section of shade from a large umbrella. Parents need to supervise from several vantage points. Small pets considered but droppings must be collected. There is a rubbish bin. Site must be kept clean​,​ tidy. Camp kitchen​,​ bathroom must be kept tidy and cleaned up after each use. Tallai is the aboriginal meaning for "Tall Trees" which there are a few around. There is Birdlife​,​ early morning kangaroos and the possibility to see a koala. As mentioned the Hinz Dam for fresh water fishing (permit required) and hinterland is nearby. There is an undercover BBQ area with power​,​ toilet​,​ shower and table. No power at sites​,​ but there is a water tap. Camping is in an area which is reasonably flat​,​ some levelling of your van or trailer will be required and it's just off the main bitumen road and will require driving onto the grass area on a slight hill. There will be vehicle noise past the camp site at peak times​,​ it's mostly quiet. There are small children who live on the property and may be playing at times and in the pool. Tenters will require something off the ground to sleep on as the ground is a little lumpy. It's a great base for you to tour the coast from or just relax by the pool or go for walks. There is a small public golf course and pub a 5 minute walk away for those wanting to eat out. The place is shared by other people and owners are onsite in the main house. There may be occasional yard work and maintenance of the property going on.
